What’s the best time to visit the kitties?
Depends on your purreference!
Our kitties are free to roam, snooze, & play as they please!
The average cat sleeps 12-18 hours a day (lucky!) so we have lots of sleepy snuggle hours throughout the day! However, our kitties are most active at night & in the morning if you purrfer playtime!
Where should I park?
Seattle: There’s street parking around us and two lots behind us on Belmont Ave! We recommend coming at least 10min before your cat room time to find parking & get settled, especially on weekends!
Bellingham: There’s street parking all around us!
Where do you get your cats?
All our kitties come from Regional Animal Services of King County!

What is the age limit in the cat room?
We’re open to all ages!
For children 12 and under, you must have 1 adult for every 2 children.
Can I bring my own cat?
Nope! We’ll supply the kitties!

Can I have my birthday pawrty in the cat room?
Yes! The kitties love to party.
Book a Purrivate Party in the cat room to gather your gang for a snuggle session! Pawty with up to 20 of your furiends in B’ham and 10 of your furiends in Seattle!
I have food/toys/supplies to donate. How do I do that?
Thank you fur thinking of us & the kitties!
We can only accept new, unused, or unopened supplies.
If you come in with donations, just hand ‘em to the Pawtender on duty!
Do I have to have a reservation?
We highly recommend making reservations!
We take walk-ins when there’s space in the cat room, but booking a visit online is easy, costs the same & guarantees you get time with the kitties.
How can I see what cats are currently at NEKO?

What kinds of cat room sessions are there?
Cat Room Visit: 45mins in the cat room!
Purrivate Party: 45mins in the cat room for just you and your fave people!
Work/Study/Purr: [Bellingham Only] 2.75hrs of time to work, study, & snuggle the kitties!
Cat Yoga: [Bellingham Only] 45min of all-levels yoga class, 30min of kitty/beer time!
Are you ADA accessible?
Bellingham: Yes! NEKO Bellingham is fully accessible.
Seattle: Unfortunately, NEKO Seattle’s entrance is not fully accessible. The outside sidewalk (owned by the City of Seattle) includes a large step down into our building. We deeply apologize & seriously hope the city addresses this issue soon. We’ve done significant renovations in our interior to ensure it’s as accessible as pawsible in the meantime. NEKO is a haven for rescue cats and humans to relax and enjoy each other’s company. You can come and lounge with the kitties in the cat room (be sure to book ahead!) or come by anytime to grab a drink in the cafe and watch the cats play in the windows!
Our online re-tail shop has all the NEKO goods for you and your kitties at home. Pins, stickers, hats, shirts and locally pawmade goodies.
